Shirpur Gold

Shirpur Gold Refinery Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the Company” or “SGRL”) was

incorporated on 9th November 1984 under the name “Skipper Mercantile Limited”. On 1st July 1991,

the name of the Company was changed to “Autoriders Mercantile & Finance Limited” and

subsequently on 19th May 2000, the name was changed to “Agee Gold Refiners Limited”. On 18th

March 2002, the name of the Company was changed to its present name. The Company is listed on

BSE Limited (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE).

The Company is primarily engaged in refining of gold and silver from the raw gold (Dore) stage to

99.99% purity of marketable products viz. gold and silver bars of 25g, 50g, 100g, 1 kg, or different

denominations and of 995 and 999 purity. The Company is also engaged in minting of gold and silver

coins along with manufacturing and exporting gold jewellery.“Zee Gold” is the first brand of gold

coins launched by the Company. The Company is on the threshold of launching an entire new range of

industrial value added products for the domestic and international market. These products would be an

addition to the current product range of gold bars, jewellery and coins in different denominations under

the brand ‘Zee Gold.’

The Company has set up a metal refinery with an annual capacity of 217 Metric Tonne of gold and

silver at Shirpur, Maharashtra. The refinery has the technical capability to refine and fabricate gold

and silver up to 999.9 fineness.
